Last March we celebrated that we have grown from 0 to 100 developed solutions.
Since then, much has changed.
Here is a brief look back at what we have achieved and what the next step is.
TL;DR:
100 → 200 developed solutions
3 → 8 developers in the team
20 → 55 customers
How did we get here?
It took us just over a year to go from 0 to 100 solutions and less than six months to grow from 100 to 200.
How we did that is actually quite simple: we focused not on doing more, but on doing better in what we are truly good at.
We went all-in on the power of consultancy and development. In doing so, we not only built solutions but also combined that with brutally honest, specialized advice.
This allows us to build solutions that are better aligned with businesses, deliver a higher ROI, and lead to stronger customer relationships.
This approach works exceptionally well, but it has also brought new capacity challenges. To address these, we have expanded our team with top international talent, including developers with extensive experience at Amazon, the World Bank, and other leading organizations.
We are now working with more than 55 ambitious, fast-growing companies, but this is just the beginning.
Our goal is to make Stonewell the leading development company in the Netherlands, with the highest customer satisfaction in the sector. Growth should never come at the expense of quality, and we are here to prove that.
Looking Ahead
To grow from 55 to 100 customers in the coming months, we are focusing on a number of key priorities.
1. Investing in a multidisciplinary, senior team
Scaling without loss of quality starts with people.
In the coming months, we will continue to invest in a team of experienced developers, consultants, and product thinkers with expertise across various sectors and technologies.
This diversity enables us to approach problems from multiple angles, business, technical, and user-oriented, so that each solution seamlessly fits the daily practices of our customers.
2. Investing in technology
We will continue to lead with our tools, infrastructure, and AI-supported development in the coming months.
This means spending less time on repetitive tasks and more on strategy, scalability, and quality.
In this way, we can help our customers faster and better, a true win-win, if you ask me.
3. Keeping customer satisfaction central
Our growth is only sustainable if our customers grow with us.
That is why customer satisfaction for us is more than a KPI; it is a mindset that determines how we build, communicate, and support.
In the coming time, we will strengthen our feedback loops, refine our aftercare structures, and conduct regular client success check-ins so that every collaboration remains strong, even long after delivery.
It’s about proactive collaboration: not only solving today’s challenges but also anticipating those of tomorrow.
4. Investing in scalable software
Software products are the future, and we have started building our own.
In the coming months, we will lay the groundwork for a new business unit focused on developing scalable software products (SaaS projects), both for internal use and in collaboration with customers.
All these investments are made with quality as our starting point.
Conclusion
If you had told me at the beginning of this year that we would be going 2.5 times in less than six months, I wouldn't have believed you.
This progress is only possible thanks to our customers, partners, and our team.
