Centralised and automated business processes across the group
The situation
NL Safety Group is a group focused on workplace safety management: fire safety, first aid and VCA, an occupational health service and much more. With more than 6 companies in the group, they were running into centralisation and automation problems. A lot ran side by side and cost a lot of manual work.
That was not solved in one go, but the challenge was clear from the start: create overview and calm step by step, and automate processes to support NL Safety's ambition.
Our solution
Contractor portal
On behalf of the housing association, the contractor can request new home inspections. These are automatically scheduled with the inspectors, and once finished the report is automatically loaded in, the improvement points are extracted and placed on the dashboard, and the invoice is attached to the order.
Housing association portal
The housing association sees all orders from the contractors, including overarching insights into the portfolio: number of inspections, inspection points (passed and failed per point and in total) and more, with all reports and invoices alongside.
Inspector portal
Based on postcode and capacity, inspectors automatically get their home inspections scheduled. At the push of a button an optimal route is worked out daily, and inspectors complete their reports through InControl, which are then automatically loaded back in for the contractor.
Staff portal & admin
Everything is managed through the staff portal: the housing associations, including customer-specific prices and terms, plus overall overviews and dashboarding. On the back end, invoices are automatically created in Moneybird after the order, and reports are automatically linked.
The result
Home inspections have already proven themselves; the rest of the group is still in progress. Jeroen shared the results of the home-inspection work himself in the case video: a planner freed up, overview and calm to keep growing, and customer growth because things are in order digitally. What we've proven there, we're now expanding to every NL Safety service, to build a central backbone that supports their ambition and growth.
